Any dual MIDI port non-sound cards around ?

Some time ago in my spares box I had a dual MIDI port ISA card with no
sound controller on it. That has now long gone but I'm after the same
thing to control two MIDI sound units.

I've got an on-board MIDI port and also a pci MIDI sound card but still
only one MIDI port gets recognised even after changing the address
settings in the BIOS for the on-board MIDI port and in the Windows
properties for the Pci card in the device manager but still no joy.

Is there such a device as the old ISA dual MIDI port card ? All the
searches and images for the so-called dual MIDI port cards show only one
MIDI port.

Does it really need to be a "card". I'd think that one of the little
USB-MIDI converters would fill the bill but my experience with music
making is pretty limited.

This is the sort of thing I had in mind:

So long as I can use my "Sawnov's" with it. They used to be full
keyboard units, have had the keyboard mechanics removed and are now
shelf-bound sound units. On my previous pc I've been able to use the
motherboard's MIDI port then the MIDI port of a cheap pci card, each
controlling its own sound unit.

With two units I can compose 32 channels of sounds for orchestral work
and with the software it will allow the control of eight MIDI units.

Thanks! I shall look into that option.

Well, the company I linked to has quite a range of USB to MIDI
converters which seem to run up to 8X8. I intentionally didn't look at
the prices so as not to rain on any parades...

Oh yeaahh! If I could get a couple of cheap pci cards to do it then
that would be great but sadly they're not like the old Soundblaster Pro
or 16 (IIRC) with the DIP switches to manually select IRQs and Interrupt
numbers and Windows doesn't seem to be able to be clever enough to
select vastly different ranges even in the device manager properties.
