Antivirus question

Hi

I have a dual boot operating system installed in my computer.Windows Me
installed in drive C and windows XP professional installed in drive D with
norton antivirus 2006.I would like to install the free version of AVG
antivirus in windows Me.So my question is would it cause a conflict if i
installed avg antivirus in drive C with norton antivirus installed in drive
D.Thank you for your help.

No.
 
As they are in different partitions so no possibility of conflict.

It's not so important as to where they are installed as 'are they going to
run at the same time'. Since you are dual-booting and installing one per OS,
then they will not be running at the same time. They could both be installed
to folders on drive C: - it wouldn't matter.
