I have reinstalled my PC and installed another antivirus software, but now I
get a message saying something about my old antivirus. How can I do to not
get this message?. It seems like in my outlook data file is something about
the old antivirus.

Thanks in advance.

What does "reinstalled my PC" mean? Generally, you install software onto
the PC. Do you reinstall Windows? If so, did you reformat the partition or
install over the top of an existing Windows installation? DId you reinstall
Office? What version?

I have reinstalled the OS . Then I install Office XP and a new antivirus
McAfee (before I had installed Norton Corporate Edition 2004) and I restore
my Outlook Data Files. Now when I open Outlook I get a message saying like
there is not installed the old Antivirus (Norton Corporate Edition 2004).

Does Outlook run at all or does the error occur and Outlook doesn't run?

The message I get is "It can not be installed or loaded the complement
C:\archivos de programa\Network Associates\Virus Scan\scanema…
This problem could be solved using Detect and Repair in Help menu

The file could not be openned
C:\archivos de programa\Network Associates\Virus Scan\scanema…

It could be that the memory or resourse of the system are insuficient or
that some files DLL are missed.

The same message I get for Symantec client when I open a mail

My traslation is not very good....

Thanks in advance

Click Tools>Options>Other>Advanced Options>Add-In Manager (or COM Add-Ins)
and locate the reference to VirusScan. Remove it. Restart Outlook.
