Where/how coud I get/create anti-virus boot disk(s)?
I'm a Kaspersky customer and my friend is havin a bit of bother were
her laptop keeps shutting down just a windows starts.

If malware is suspected then you need to boot into windows (where the
utility has access to the registry) in safe mode and run a scan there.
You can download Sysclean_FE from the address below onto your pc.
Unzip it to the default directory (c:/sysclean) and click Sysclean_FE
link. When it has finished downloading the files press '3' at the
option menu to exit the program. Burn the c:/sysclean folder to a cd.
Now boot up your friends pc in safe mode

Insert the burned cd into his/her drive and copy the contents to c:/
and execute Sysclean_FE link
It will scan and remove any detected malware on the pc.
Restart in Normal boot.
