Anti-spyware doesn't seem to work!

I have both Ad-Aware and this new Anti-spyware from
Microsoft. I've run the Microsoft anti-spyware numerous
times now and it always registers as Zero Threat, no
spyware detected. BUT I have run the Ad-Aware afterwards
and each time Ad-Aware finds between 5 and 10 critical
spywares. What gives?

Thanks,

Pondering

You are probably seeing cookies/data miners, which the beta version doesn't check for.
With all the posts about this it's too bad MS couldn't have put a "disclaimer" on the GUI.

Hi Pondering,
Ponder this: In the Beta1 version, the program doesn't go into the cookie
jar, nor does it chase data miner objects.
I guess 'critical' in this case is in the eye of the beholder. I don't term
cookies myself as a threat, tho I do knock them out.
