Antec Sonata Question

I have one of these fine cases but the one thing that bothers me is
the small interior of the case for air circulation. Now that summer
approaches I worry that my system might begin overheating as a
result.. Does anyone have any recommendations for cleaning up the
inside (cables) to increase airflow?

I have built three, all still in the family so I know what's up with them. I
have used Antec Cobra cables on all three. They are very flexible and can be
tucked out of the way. Coolermaster also makes a nice flexible round cable for
a few bucks less.

I also used a second fan ( Thermaltake variable speed )

the first two and will probably add one to the latest build which is sitting at
the desk beside me right now.

You can also tuck excess wiring behind the hard drive cage, although it is a
stealth maneuver since the side panel can't be removed.

These cases have excellent airflow and I don't think you will have problems if
you take some care to tuck your cables and keep the filter clean.

I'll second that: if you can put up with the one-time hassle and mount
the hd(s) so the connectors are away from the open side of the case
(and it *is* a hassle with standard length flat connectors), then you
will enjoy superb airflow and coolness with this case.
