Antec Sonata - ATX12v Power Supply - 20 pin or 24 pin?

O

Overlord

When my old PS went south, I shopped all over for PS specs.
8 15000prm drives, dual CDRWs, ATI X800 video, fans, case lights, addon cards,
dual nics, overclocked video and CPU.... I needed Juice.
It's damn hard to find where the companies hide their real specs on the sites.
Some of them never do post intelligent specs on what they want you to buy.

Don't hold your breath! I ran into this idiot deal with Antec's site months ago
and emailed them about their poor links for this same item.
It would appear to have done no good if you're running into the same bad link
at this late date.

The ATX12v standard power connector should be 24 pin.

The specs on the Antec site show it to be a ATX12v p/s but the online manuel
http://www.antec.com/us/support_productInfo_details.php?ProdID=20381#
for this p/s shows it to be a 20 pin connector.

Anyone know for sure?

thanks, Mr Koko

The Antec Sonata has a 20 Pin ATX style Power connector, as well as the 4
pin AUX12 connector...it also has a Auxiliary Power connector, which is a 6
pin connector, Pinned as com,com,com,+3.3VDC,+3.3VDC,+5VDC. I found a nice
PDF document on the Antec site for the TruePower380, which is the PS in the
Sonata case...you can find it at:
