anoying sidebar

I have a new problem that happen everytime I open a new
browser window. A blank sidebar opens, ( I think thats
what its called, llike the search, history, etc but blank)
I can close it but everytime I open anoher window it
comes back. Any ideas ?

This is probably being caused by a third-party program (adware, spyware,
parasite)

Work through the solutions (CWShredder, Ad-aware, Spybot) at

You nailed it , loaded Adaware, Spybot search & destroy
and Spywareblaster, and all is good again.
