Only if they deserve help. He doesn't. There is no problem. Windows wasn't designed to be used at the wekcome screen. It is abusive to expect enablement of his mental illness.

Why would you have joined in at all? The question was answered, you only had disempowerment to offer, you replied to ME, you refered them to a web site that hasn't worked properly for years, and it's all in Help.

What did you expect, a pat on the back for WRONG advice.

XP PRO - An old program left a schedule run icon on desktop, no matter what
image I use it shows up. I have no control over icon. How can I delete it ?
