another workstation has modified

while trying to access my e-mail, i recieved the
message, "could not be accessed because another
workstation has modified it. close and try again. exactly
what does this mean? is someone else reading my e-mail?

Hmmm, I've never seen this message before. Are you using Exchange server?
Are you sure that is the exact text of the error message?

I know this problem very good.

Is it possible that the pst file is on a network drive?
