another word normal.dot

after word crash in my machine with win xp home and office 2003, whenever I close word after use "changes have been made to global...normal..." massage appear all the time. I've tried clearing office and word startup folders,delete ~temp files, rename or delete the normal.dot, running update norton av, disable the office plug-in with option in norton av, turning off COM add-in, delete macros, try anything I could find from kb and mvp site with no improvement, any new advise?

Have you uninstalled Office 2003 and deleted the Office 11 folder in the
program files group, restart then reinstall Office 2003?
