another user has source table open in exclusive mode. please help

I wanted to create a pivot chart. While doing so i receive error form cannot
be opened, coz another user has source table open in exclusive mode. I
believe in the only user. I use Office 2003.
Can anyone pls help?

You could be that "other user"!

Do you have anything else open when you're trying to create the pivot chart?
Close all other forms, queries, tables, etc.
