Another update: .net 1.1SP1 install?

There is another update on the win update site: usoft .net framework.
version 1.1, SP1, KB 867460
Any pre or post install suggestions?
I have SP2 installed.

That's another update that's NOT included in SP2. My computer acts the same
after installing it.

Don't let the SP1 fool you, after researching before the install, I read
that it is designed for both
XP SP1 and XP SP2.
I have had no problems after the install.

Yes- It should be downloaded and installed. I did it with
no problems. I think it's a critical one.

It is the SP1 of Net framework; a different product. Just as you may
find say SP3 of Office. It will be offered in Windows Update if you
already have Net framework installed, in which case you should get it
