another monitor problem

I have installed a new graphic card as the makers
instructions show, but when I boot up the monitor turns
on and off 5 times...I have uninstalled it and
reinstalled but no change ?.
Any idea`s any one ?.
 
I have this problem with the new Nvidia FX cards, not sure
what causes it though
