annoying question about clipboard keeps popping up

I have accessed a survey and a search engine recently and have been unable to
continue because a box popped up with the question " Do you want to allow
this webpage to access your clipboard?"
It doesn't matter whether I click on "allow" or "don't allow" it will not go
away, I cannot close the box with the x and I cannot interact any more with
the webpage. I have to close by alt/F4 a few times or control/alt/delete.

Any idea what/why/how I solve this problem?

I have WXP and this happened in IE7beta but is still happening since I
reverted to IE6.

yes, that is a problem......

It may not have anything to do with the clipboard. I would consider it as a
"pop up" and get some antivirul that stops it. Which antivirus, antispyware
anti-..... do you have currently installed?
