Whenever I invoke Send/Receive I get:
Network Connections cannot load. Dialog error 623: the
system could not find the phone book entry for this
connection. I have searched knowledge database with no
luck. Getting frustrated.

Have you contacted your ISP to see if your SMTP/POP3 settings are correct?
Can you connect to the Internet other than sending or receiving mail?

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to
the SWEN virus, all mail sent to my personal account will be deleted
without reading.

After searching google.groups.com and finding no answer, krughx asked:

You can get this error if you are not using a phone line to connect t
the internet, but you still have MS Mail Server, or another accoun
that DOES call for a phone line connection, listed as one of you
accounts. I recently migrated from Outlook Express to Outlook and go
this error. Here's how I got rid of it: Tools > Send/Receive
Send/Receive Settings > Define Send/Receive Groups and Edit "Al
Accounts". If you have an account that you are not using that calls fo
a phone line connection, in my case MS Mail Server, click on it an
turn off the check box "Include the selected account in this group.
