annoying folder display

Every time Windows XP starts, the folder System32 is open
on the desktop and I close this before continuing. How
can I stop this?
 
Hey Paul,

Check in

control panel/folder options/view tab

Scroll down and see if you have
"Restore previous folder windows at logon" ticked
