Annoying Beep When Dialogue Boxes Open

All of a sudden for the past couple of weeks anytime I hit a wrong key
or when a dialogue box opens (such as the one that asks if you want to
save changes in Word) a really loud beep sounds. Anyone know how to
get rid of it.

In the control panel, Sounds and Audio Devices, Sounds tab, scroll through the sounds
until you find the one that irritates you, either turn it off or browse to a more
pleasing sound.
