annoyed with msn

i have windows vista home premium and i am trying to get windows live
messenger working. But every time i click on it it says cannot connect to
server. Then it displays error code 80070005 which i have then looked on the
internet and it has said this is a problem with vista. i have tried
everything and by the looks of things other ppl have suffered this problem
with vista. i have been using msn since febuary so why is it not working now.
please let me know if u know how to fix this problem thnx

Did you ever find an answer to this? I have the same problem and it occurred
after upgrade from XP to Vista Home Premium. Also, I can't check my hotmail
email.
