ANNC: *FREE* real time chat room created to discuss freeware

ok, guys, i really did it this time. i was playing aroudn with adding stuff
to my website(s) and created a realtime free chat room to discuss freeware.

registration is *NOT* required but only if you want to reserve a username;
usernames do *EXPIRE* after 31 days of non use while unregistered usernames
expire after 8 minutes. it is powered by phpMyChat so I'm still working out
the bugs.

right now it should work but my webhosts server may be going down this
weekend for maintenance (not sure when or for how long) this was more or
less created as an experiment (see if it would benefit my websites) and what
better group to test it out on than you guys. i hope to add this kind of
chat room to my website for kids at http://www.villagecouncil.net but
registration on *THAT* website *WOULD* be required (i believe that would be
by law not sure but because it is a site for kids better be safe than
sorry). other topics include:

Well, because its free and it came with my webhosts package. :blush:)

Maybe, perhaps, we can schedule weekly real time live chats; a schedule
agreed upon by the consensus of the group; or just pop in and out of the
chat rooms whenever ? What do you think ? What would you like to see to
make it work ?

registration is *NOT* required unless you want your username reserved;
registered un-used usernames expire after 31 days but un-registered un-used
usernames expire after 8 minutes; right now the auto refresh rate is set to
5 seconds (but may be adjusted).
