All,

I am giving an MSDN webcast on "Architecting Windows Mobile Solutions with
SQL Server CE" this Wednesday. Many of you have had questions lately about
data synchronization options/selection and there is great coverage of that
decision process in the presentation. I'll also walk through the upcoming
SQLMobile release and show a demo of merge replication with SQLMobile.

I hope to see you there!

Is there any way to see a rebroadcast of it? I was in a meeting from 11-12
and I'd love to see it!

Hi,

I had registered for this event but due to time differences, I was not
able to view the webcast. I followed this link mentioned by Darren,
but it says "We're sorry, the requested Webcast could not be found." .
Is there any way to view this webcast or if anyone have a downloaded
version please mail me to (e-mail address removed).

Thanks & Rgds.

I watched it yesterday and had 1 question - I get that Yukon will let you
edit and deploy (via AS I think) an SDF file to a mobile device. But did I
also hear you say that you could edit/update an SDF file on a mobile device
in the field via GPRS? That would we pretty awesome, but I think maybe I
mis-heard that one!

Tim,

With Yukon and SQLMobile, you have the option to replicate schema changes
from
server to device. It is currently not implemented in the Beta 1 of
SQLMobile, but the
option will be there. You also have the option to create the entire
subscription (.sdf file
on device) on the first replication with the server. Very cool.
