ANN: New Article : Protect Your Code and Images

Good article, Jim! Concise and to-the-point.

One of the things that has baffled me over the years is why anyone would
think that HTML code should be copyrighted. Content, yes, but HTML code?
It's nothing more than layout markup! And as for JavaScript, well, I have
seen very few JavaScripts that were worth copyrighting. They exist, but are
few and far between. After all, JavaScript is hardly hard-core programming.
It's just scripting code.

Great work, Jim.

I'd like to suggest that you add a line or two discussing that if you use a
JavaScript-based solution such as the one provided by AntsSoft, that if
visitors don't have JavaScript enabled in their browser, they won't be able
to view the page at all.

Since disabling JavaScript is a common suggestion to defeat unwanted pop-up
windows in IE, it means a lot of users (can't quantify that at the moment)
may not be able to see these pages and, more important to commercial sites,
won't be able to spend money on websites that use these methods!

I like your take on it.
"Now that's protection of content, but probably not the intended result."

That should get this particular point accross clearly. :)
