About Doc-O-Matic

Doc-O-Matic creates fully cross linked documentation systems,
including Source Code Documentation, Online Help and User Manuals in
PDF, HTML, HTML Help 1.x, Help 2.0, Windows Help and RTF. Using
Doc-O-Matic you can create every kind of documentation from a single
source.

Doc-O-Matic uses information about source code symbols (namespaces,
packages, classes, members structs, records, enums, and other
symbols) and existing tagged and untagged comments (XMLDoc comments,
JavaDoc comments and plain text comments) in source code files and
external documentation files (Word Documents, HTML files and plain
text files).

Doc-O-Matic creates accurate documentation based on popular IDE
documentation styles (VS.NET, MSDN, VCL), including class
hierarchies, symbol overview pages, examples, syntax highlighted
declaration and function body sources.

Doc-O-Matic provides full automatic hyperlinking in your project,
between different projects and from projects into the Framework SDK,
MSDN, VCL and other existing documentation.

The fully featured integrated editor makes it easy to document your
source code and author your Help systems.

Doc-O-Matic includes a visual table of contents designer that allows
you to rearrange source code symbols and topics. Generated
documentation can be automatically compiled into HTML Help 1.x,
Help 2.0, Windows Help, browser-based Help or transformed into a
double-side printable PDF document. All output formats allow full
customization of page layout, index and table of contents.

What do you provide that NDoc doesn't?

Doc-O-Matic is a general documentation tool and combines source code
documentation with generic documentation (such as architecture
documentation and application documentation). It parses the source code
directly, it doesn't use compiled assemblies, so it actually sees what's
inside your source files (C/C++, C#, VB.NET, Delphi, IDL and Java).

Doc-O-Matic is a two-way tool that allows you to write documentation as
well as generate documentation in various output formats (browser based
HTML, HTML Help, Help 2, PDF, WinHelp). It is extremely configurable and
comes with a intuitive graphical user interface.
