I was going to say why is there a trial version if it's free but the
pro version has a trial time and then it's shareware. They say the
home version is free and looks interesting. I downloaded it. ~6.5megs
expands to around 22megs. There's a rather stiff license agreement
that doesn't actually say anything specific about freeware. When I
started the program it asked for a key and would only let me use a 60
day free trial even though I specifically downloaded the home version.
So then I found out you have to register on their site for a license
key. They want e-mail home address and a phone number. I'm not ready
yet to go down that path so I decided to uninstall. It does have a lot
of nice features though so it might be worth a look.

I agree. I don't give out my phone number to *anybody* and don't like
being put into the position of having to lie to get access to a
program, so I too will pass. Don't know what I'll do when AVG goes
$ware. Guess I'll do without.
