I am new to Front Page but have been sucessful in getting a web page made and
published. My question is how do you get animation in Front Page? I would
like to have things like you see on yahoo.com or others where they flash and
scroll and move - can you do this with front page? If so, how - can someone
give me a step by step process so I could understand?

Thanks, any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

There are at least two ways of getting such animation on a page -

1. Use a graphics editor to create an animated GIF image. This accounts
for at least 50% of what you see on the web, and about 100% of what you see
on the hobby sites.

2. Use a program like Swish or Flash to create a vector "movie" of the
animation. This is what you see on the higher end sites, like
http://www.nike.com.

The bottom line is - none of it is done in the HTML authoring (or very
little - excluding the dHTML motion you can create). All of it is done in
some other program and placed on your page in your HTML authoring program.

Does that help?
