Animated Gif won't play in Outlook

Anybody that could help me on the following?

My Outlook 2007 don't play the animated gif.
I know that if I click preview it on the browser then I can see it play the
animation.

But is there a way to configure the setting so that it play straight away in
the outlook preview instead of having to use the browser to preview it?

No, you can see it only in the browser.

Hi Michael,

I understand that instead of using the IE-based HTML rendering engine,
Outlook 2007 will use the MS Word HTML rendering engine.
Is there any option for me to change this HTML rendering engine setting?

There's no such option in OL07. You'd have to use OL2003 instead.
