Found an animated gif that I am using for desktop and works fine, When I
put the same gif on other computer, it does not animate. What setting am I
missing?

Check the default software settings for gif files types.

By default software setting do you mean the program that opens the file,
when I right click on the gif and select properties it tells me it opens
with windows picture and fax viewer. Thanks for your reply.

Click Start, Run and type INETCPL.CPL
Select "Advanced" tab
Under "Multimedia" section, put a checkmark near the following option:

"Play animations in web pages"

This setting applies to Desktop wallpaper as well.
