When I download clip art with animation, the animation doesn't work when
inserting the clip into an Outlook message.

In addition to Ms. Orland's post, as the sender, you won't be able to see
the animation, but the recipient will.

Thank you Brian. This probably answered my question the best it could be.
You are right on the money. I thought because it wasn't working on my end
that the receiver wouldn't be able to see the animation either. BUT THEY
CAN. HURRAY!!

Its best to copy the animation you want while you are on the net but you
need to paste it into an animation program like Paint Shop or similar program
that can save in GIF format. Save it to your clip animation file. When you
write your email, insert the animation into the body of the page. Exit out of
your new email and save it as a draft. When you preview your draft you will
see the animation behave just as the recipient will see it. It will not
animate while your are inserting it into your email however.

Good advice, but when I receive a copy of the email I sent with the
animations, all i see are the hyperlinks.

What am I doing wrong? I'm in the HTML mode and I'm doing a copy of the
animation and then just pasting into my email.

This is an old thread. Hope you're still lurking about :]

Thanks so much.
