Animated Backgrounds

I am trying to add an animated logo to all my power point slides.
I can do this by adding a animated gif, avi or mov to each slide. But, I
would like to be able to add the animation to every slide at once like a
background

Is this possible.

pat the pratt,

if you put your animated logo (avi gif mov etc) on the "slide master", then
it will be visible on all your slides

Also, something to experiment with as I'm not sure how well it would work...
If your logo is a looping AVI you could put it on the first slide, set it to
loop and choose an appropriate continue slideshow/stop playing after XX
slides under its custom animation settings.

Again, placing a looping .avi on the master slide would be the best way to
use. Create a 2nd master without the .avi if needed and change content slide
masters as needed.

OK, but you'd still need to set it to 'continue slide show' or 'stop playing
after XX slides' or it will simply restart on each slide.
