Andre hi,
I checked my second vista Ultimate and there is no such item as"Create a
Recovery Disk." I checked my second system, also Vista Ultimate. It is not
there. I have only Backup and Recovery center where I can "Backup file or
your entire computer." or "Restore files or your Entire Computer."
There should be an API somewhere that does it. Could you find out the name
of he exec, please?
I do not have the last option under Maintenance as he claims:
You can find the tool in the "Start menu" > "All programs" > "Maintenance" >
"Create a Recovery Disc".
Create Recovery Disk is not on my menu.
Long Zheng's article:
http://www.istartedsomething.com/20070929/vista-sp1-recovery-disc/
He mentions also recdisk.exe. I could not see this API in windows\system32.
It seems according to Long this exec is a part of SP1. Is it true?
Again, I would like to find the name of the exec that does it.
Many thanks
