Analysing Percentages in Pivot tables in Excel 2003

We have a pivot table in excel the source data holds a column that has been
formulated to return a percentage answer, the result in the pivot table is
not constant with the source data. Is it possible to use a pivot table to
analyse percentages?

Yes, you can analyse % values in a PT.
In what way is the PT report not consistent with your source data?
