Analog capture - Sony Giga Pocket ?

Video Device Capture page never comes up, instead I'm
getting an error message: a video capture device was not
detected. Verify device turned on and connected
properly. Have Sony Giga Pocket video recorder and S-
video / composite connections but are these true video
capture devices or strictly for use with Sony Giga Pocket
& Click to DVD, and not compatible with WMM?
Many Thanks!

I just figured out to capture analog myself this weekend. Try opening Click to DVD, connect the camera throrgh the analog ports in the from of PC. Open Click to DVD. If you don't see an "analog" tab underr the Ilink button, that probably means the Giga Pocket Server is not running. You can't capture from analog without Giga Pocket Server running. Click Giga Pocket/All Programs/GP Server and then hide. You should now see the analog tab

There is a great step by step tutorial on Sony's website - http://ciscdb.sel.sony.com/cgi-bin/swu-index.

You just need to type in your PC model and find the ones for Click to DVD

Hope that helps. I was getting frustrated, but the Sony website helped me out. Good luck!
