Stuck emails should be removed by using this Microsoft fix:

http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/941090
"Messages may be stuck in the Outbox when you use Windows Mail on a
computer that is running Windows Vista"

Although Outbox is the only folder mentioned, it will remove stuck
messages from all folders.

Try using mac's solution, the Microsoft fix for mail unable to be deleted
from the Outbox. http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/941090

Go to Edit | Empty Deleted Items and do it several times and some are
reporting that it slowly gets rid of the messages.
