An unexpected error has occurred - now what?

I create an email and when I click send a box pops up saying
an unexpected error has occurred. No other info.
 
There are plenty of other info you could provide, i.e.
- Outlook version?
- account type?
- message type?
- did this work before?

Also, does it also happen when you run Outlook in Safe Mode (Start ->
Run -> outlook /safe [OK])?
