"An interface has too many methods to fire events from."

I am trying to import an .mpeg file from my computer into Movie Maker, but it
keeps giving me this error reading:

"C:\Program Files\Dvd-to-mpeg\dvd-to-mpeg.avi.mpg could not be imported. An
interface has too many methods to fire events from."

Does anyone know what this means, or how to fix it? I am so confused...

Oh, jeez. I'm an idiot. Thank you so much, though. I never would have figured
it out on my own.

Okay, wait: how to I convert video clips? I tried the whole File > Save As
thing in WMP, but the file won't play in WMP or import into WMM.

It's not letting me install the Panasonic codec. I keep getting an error
saying that it can't register.
