always use the selected program to open this kind of file

i accidentally checked this box; now i can't uncheck it.
i do not wish for the same program to always open my
files. assistance required.

Hi

Try this:

In Explorer (not Internet Explorer):

in the menu Tools\Folder Options...

select the "File Types" tab, and find relevant extension in the list.

Click the "Advanced" button and change the setting...
