Without me opening outlook a 2nd time, I am noticing that I often end up
with 2 outlook.exe (ver 2003) processes running when I click CTRL-ALT-DEL
and look at processes in the task manager. I only see 1 outlook window.
This invariably causes problems for me when the 2nd process somehow starts
on its own, because at that time mail in my outbox won't send. Every day, a
few times per day, I have to shut down the visible outlook, then go to
processes, force that other process to shut down, then re-open outlook, and
suddenly mail sends again (at least for a few hours).
I have no plug-ins except for Norton Antivirus 2005 (the typical install)
and my office/outlook updates are up to date.
Ideas?
