Always check spelling before sending - greyed out

Using Outlook 2000 on Windows 2000. Trying to de-select the 'always check
spelling before sending' option within Tools, Options, Spelling but its
greyed out and wont let me un-tick the box.
How do i make it available again?

Are you working on a PC that is on a company Windows 2000 (active directory)
network?

If so, it sounds like your company may have forced all email to be spell
checked using a group policy or registry hack.

This would explain why the options is greyed-out.
