I used to use software 602 but I have since found out they no longer
support the free ware option. I don't want to go back to microsoft. Is
there any other free ware that lets me use Spreadsheets, word like
software 602 or microsoft

cheers

Help me to understand you reasons here.

As I understand things, there is nothing that says that we can't keep
using the 'free' version of 602 that we now have. It's not going to stop
working. :-)

After I did a clean installation of XP home I installed Software 602,
when I entered the key I had from a previous installation it came up
wrong key entered...

So I went to there web site and entered the key I had and a window
popped up with Freeware Registration Discontinued.

It goes on to say that I will not be able to register the software
unless I purchase a registration key

Open Office. Don't expect it to bee as good as Excel, but after all, no
spreadsheet is as good as Excel.

This is a bit OT, but you can find a key generator on the net. It's not
exactly piracy as the program is freeware.

Although not freeware you could also spend about $15 and get an OEM
version of Corel Wordperfect Office 12. Just do a search on
pricewatch.com.
