Alternatives to Hover Buttons

I use hover buttons throughout my website. (www.lostworldsinc.com) The consultants here routinely advise against it on grounds that visitors might not have Java Sun VM loaded

What are viable alternatives that are MS-friendly

Which version of FrontPage?? If 2000 or 2002 check out DHTML, if 2003 check out behaviors and use
image swaps.

Also you can do some pretty nice stuff using CSS.
