Alternative way of highlighting to the end of a paragraph?

Hello,

I wanted to automatically (for an AutoHotkey program) highlight text from
the cursor position to the end of the paragraph (cell) and then in the next
step delete the text.

The problem is that the Windows hotkey for highlighting text from the cursor
position to the end of the paragraph (CTRL-SHIFT-DOWNARROW) is already
assigned in the program I want to do this in.

Is there an alternative way of automatically highlighting text from the
cursor position to the end of the paragraph? Is there a way of changing the
Windows hotkey that does that?

Thanks in advance for any insight or information!

Hard to say - you're not telling us what application you're using. MS Word?
Acrobat? Some EMail client? Whichever it is, your best bet is to repost your
question in the appropriate newsgroup. There is one for each of these
applications!

It's a non-Microsoft application, and I didn't think it was relevant. If it
is, the application is Deja Vu X by Atril. The application has already laid
claim to that key combination, and I would prefer not to change it in that
program.

I'm just curious if there is ANY other way of getting Windows to highlight
text from the cursor to the end of the paragraph (cell).

Ctrl/End moves the cursor to the end.. if you click a point, then press
Ctrl/Shift/End, that should do it.
