Alternative Software to MMC

The frustration continues with the TV Wonder Pro and MMC!

What are some good 3rd party software titles for watching and recording
TV to replace the buggy ATI Multimedia Center???

I tried this a couple of weeks ago. It stuttered a LOT -- at least on
my machine with HDTV Wonder. I would have been delighted to pay for
something that works but was disappointed since several folks seem very
pleased with it. While MMC has buckets of bugs, it does not stutter on
my machine and right now has recorded around 10 events/week for 6 weeks
with no mistakes -- almost as good as a vcr.

Using InterVideo Win DVR 3 here. Got tired of MMC crashing. No problems so
far. HTH

I hate Beyond TV and Snapsteam bloated spywear. I bought a card that seems
only to work with that and not MMC. I have been using MMC on several systems
for years now and find it fine. Maybe you need a different version for your
configuration. I dislike MMC 9.08 so if you are also having trouble with
that version then roll back to another.

If anyone has any pointers on how to get my ATI XTASY 550 Theater Pro card
to be seen when I install MMC I would appreciate.
