Alternate cooling for a R9800Pro?

Hi.

I just bought an original ATI 9800 Pro 128 card.
I find the fan is noisy.

Can someone recommend a quiet, alternate fan/heatsink setup for cooling it
down?

Thanks.

PS - Think noise reduction...

Zalman ZM80A-HP (or the B or C versions)

How noisy can a huge chunk of aluminium be? :p

I can overclock my core (Crucial 9800 Pro) to 450MHz with it on there, so it
obviously does a good job.

Thanks for the reply Ben.

Is the VPU placement on the card a factor with these heat sinks?
I've got a true red ATI card so I wonder how it differs from yours.

I guess one also has to consider the "leg" room around the card and
motherboard for these.

This sounds like an attractive option.

Arctic-Cooler VGA Silencer is excellent also. Super quiet and blows the heat
out through the back.

Should be the same layout as mine. Zalmans website explains the
requirements.

Indeed... You'll most likely lose a PCI slot and you'll have to be careful
of Northbridge and CPU Heatsinks etc.

As long as the air in your case around your video card is not stagnant,
it'll be fine.

my vote would be on the VGA silencer, too. it is nice and quiet, and
allows you to overklock yer card a little more. i'm going to do a
slight mod with mine to seal the back of it up to allow true airflow
