Alphabetizing drop down list?

I have a purchasing form that uses a drop down list of names from a name/address/contact table to populate supplier identification fields. I have a separate form to add new suppliers to the name/address/contact table. I want to display the names in the drop down menu on my purchasing form in alphabetical order, but it only displays the names in the order they were entered. I have sorted the name/address/contact table but the dropdown list doesn't update.

Can anyone help?
