Another way to try out ..

Put in any starting cell, say A2:

="NAR "&TEXT(ROWS($A$1:A1),"0.00")

Copy A2 down

Another way...........

in A1 type NAR 1.00
in A2 type =LEFT(A1,3)&" "&TEXT(MID(A1,FIND(" ",A1,1),99)+1,"0.00") and copy
down.........

And if you want to fill across instead of down,
just change ROWS to COLUMNS,
viz. use: ="NAR "&TEXT(COLUMNS($A$1:A1),"0.00")

Thanks Max! You are a bloody genius!!
