All windows opens at half size

After installing a web fax application all my ie windows open at half size
and each have to maximized manually.

I sure I should know this but how do I change the open window default to
maximize?

Windows remembers the size of the last Normal IE window closed.
Open such a link.
Don't use the maximize button.
Stretch the edges/corners so that the window fills the screen.
Close all other IE windows.
Close the stretched window.
