All sites from one server will not load

I am running IE 6.0 on my Windows XP laptop and it will
not load any of the pages from a particular web host's
server (returns MSN "we can't find..." message. The
server is functioning properly since I have successfully
opened the sites on my other computers. Any idea what's
wrong and how to fix? Thanks in advance, Jo
 
It may be a HOSTS file problem.
Look for a file named HOSTS (no extension, could be hidden) rename it
OLDHOSTS.
 
I actually found 2 and renamed them both. Unfortunately
that it didn't help. I don't remember having this problem
when I first got my laptop....is there a way to uninstall
IE and re-install so that it overwrites any newer
settings?
