All Programs menu question

I have so many programs on the All Programs menu, I can not see
the complete names of the programs listed in the right-most column. Is
the a way to see these? Can I make a long list instead of tileing the
program names?

Harold, you can go to Documents and Settings>All Programs>Start
Menu>Programs>Create New Folder/s and move
your shortcuts into them which will give you more room on the rt side.

Here are two options.
1. Good solution:
Go to Control Panel and double click Taskbar and Start Menu.
In "Taskbar and Start Menu Properties", click on the Start Menu
tab.
On the Start menu page, hit the Customize button.
If you're using the XP style start menu, click on the Advanced
tab.
In the Start menu items box, make sure there's a check mark in
the box next to Scroll Programs.
If you're using the Classic style menu, look in the Advanced
Start menu options box and check Scroll Programs.
Click OK.
Now, when you hit the Start button, a down arrow should be
displayed at the bottom of the program list which will give you
access to the rest of your programs.

2. Better solution:
Right click the Start button and select Open (or Explore) All
Users from the menu.
Open the Programs folder.
Right click an open area and select New ->Folder from the menu.
Start moving similar programs into this folder.
Once you've finished moving programs right click the folder and
select Rename from the menu. Give this new folder an
appropriate name.
Keep making new folders and moving programs until you've
reduced the programs listing to a single column.

Good luck
