all my emails are gone!!

I just moved a computer from an office that was on exchange 2003. I added a
new pop3 account to continue checking emails. Outlook kept trying to check
the exchange server account, so I just removed it. Now every email I had is
gone. Is there a way to restore this?

Answering my own question

I found the .ost file and found an application that converted ost to pst and
then loaded it back up.
