There seem to be a new wild virus named Braban.h that infected msn and it's current user. If one of ur friend sends u a link for example"www.uglyphotos.com/photo223.PIF" or any other files that contain .PIF at the end,DO NOT CLICK THE LINK!!!!!!! It's a trojan that plants itself in the windows folder and downloading files secretly.Here are steps on how to get rid of it..
1. Shutdown your computer and reboot in Safe Mode (keep hitting F8 on rebooting and then you should be able to select Safe Mode).
2. Go to 'C:\Program Files\Msn Messenger\' and delete the 'msnmsgr.exe' and delete 'msgs.exe'.
3. Now go to 'C:\WINDOWS\System32\' and delete 'alfa.exe' and 'sprY.exe'.
4. On your desktop delete 'photo223.PIF' or anything carrying the MSDOS icon.
5. Perform a FULL system scan with your Anti-Virus and then reboot your system.
6. (Optional) You might want to re-install MSN Messenger after this..
